Sarah Wiles Carrwood Testimonial – Serviced Office and Co-working
We met up for a chat with Sarah Wiles from Snap Print Management who have been based at Carrwood for 2 and a half years now.
They have seen their business grow from a desk in the co-working space to their own office and have now expanded their office for a second time as they are continuing to grow.
Below is what Sarah said about her time as a resident in Carrwood Park’s office space.
Lets start with a brief history of Snap…
Well we started life in 2012 and our name back then was Snap Marketing Solutions. We recently changed our name in 2014 to better reflect what we do. In brief, we are a cost effective, ISO approved print management company who specialise in printed direct mail communication.
So you moved into Carrwood 2 and a half years ago. You started on a hot desk and have since expanded into an office. You are now expanding again. How have you found the process of expanding within Carrwood?
As many people who start up their own business are aware, you want to try and keep costs to a minimum and so the hot desk solution at Carrwood 5 was ideal for us. We had a formal business address, telephone number and professional reception service to help juggle multiple calls, yet the flexibility to work from home and use the office park when needed.
The requirement to use the park’s facilities for meetings increased and we signed a lease for a 4 man office suite in Carrwood Park 5 within the first sixth months of Snap being established. In 2014 we moved to building 4 and a 6-man office due to additional team members. The Carrwood team helped us move all our paper work, IT equipment and telephone line, and with no interruption to our day-to-day service.
Then in May 2015 we found ourselves back in the same position where we had outstripped our current space and we needed more desks to house the ever-growing team. This time round, instead of moving offices again, the Carrwood team came up with an even better solution – they really did move heaven and earth for us! We knocked the dividing wall down to to create a larger space and our current office will now take 12 desks – and although not all are full at the minute, be sure to watch this space!
You have decided to stick with Carrwood through three upgrades now, you are obviously happy here. What is it that makes Carrwood different from other service providers?
From entering as a customer in 2012 “hot desking” through to a 12 man office, we feel the park has grown with us, giving us the flexibility we have desperately needed in times of expansion. I think it is fair to say we like our “home” here, the amazing flexibility, responsive team and the abundance of car-free car parking are just some of the reasons we like it here so much. The location of Carrwood Park means that Leeds City centre is easy to access and we are so close to the motorway which makes it an easy commute for everyone, and let’s not forget accessible for suppliers and customers visiting us.
Everyone who comes for a meeting at Snap are in ore at the building and we are certainly proud to call it our office.
